What is Qaida Nuraniyah?
A phonics-based method that builds Quran reading step by step: isolated letters, joined forms, vowels, Tanween, Madd, Sukoon, Shaddah and guided Quranic practice.
Teacher and pronunciation guidance
Transliteration helps you begin, but it cannot show every articulation point or Tajweed detail. Tap a speaker to hear the Arabic device voice, then repeat aloud. Treat it as a practice aid where it is available and study with a qualified teacher.
Transliteration key
Latin letters are only a pronunciation aid. Arabic sounds such as ḥ, ʿ and q must be heard and corrected directly.

Isolated Arabic letters

Goal
Recognize every Arabic letter and say its name without adding a vowel.
Start with the letters in their separate form. Point to each letter, say its full name, and notice where the sound begins: lips, tongue, throat or open mouth.
Reading rule: Read letter names here—not short sounds. For example, ب is Bā, not ba, until a vowel mark is added.

- Do not turn letter names into words or rush through similar shapes.
- Compare dot patterns: ب ت ث, ج ح خ, and د ذ.
- Ask a teacher to check throat letters ح خ ع غ and the heavy letters ص ض ط ظ ق.

When are you ready for the Quran?
Move into the Mushaf when you can identify joined letters, keep short and long vowels distinct, read Sukoon and Shaddah reliably, and complete mixed drills without depending on transliteration. Continue with a qualified Quran teacher for Makharij and Tajweed correction.
